Boundary Fence in Denver can build you the best Doggy Runs

Dogs are man’s best friend. They are loyal, cuddly, playful, and constant companions. Although, as cute and friendly as they are, they can also be a bit cumbersome tearing up the yard, and not to mention their ‘packages’ so aptly left behind for you to pick up. What if there is something you can do about that? Boundary Fence Denver has a solution! They actually have multiple solutions to fit your needs. Boundary Fence and Supply Company offers quality fence and gate supplies with installation and fences just for fido. All gates come in standard sizes, however our gate shop can custom build made to fit gates, such as a dog run. With 41 years in the kennel manufacturing business, we offer a superior product for a better value. Below are a few tips and ideas in transforming your doggie den to doggie heaven.

Fencing Material

Dog runs can be constructed in any material you desire, cedar fencing, wood slats, lattice material, or even 4” grid hog wire, as shown above. The ground in this one is covered in pea gravel. Gravel makes the cleaning up after the ‘packages’ much easier and can be easily sprayed down with a hose and topped off with more gravel when needed.

Camouflage

Your dog run wont need to be camouflaged when Boundary Fence is completed. Although, if you would like your canine friend’s area to be more discreet, plant a garden around it. Trailing vines would offer shade, beauty and perhaps an entirely new sensory experience for you and your pup. Be sure your fencing material is a proper height for a trailing vine such as ivy or jasmine. Planting bushes around the perimeter makes the run feel less like a cage and more like a garden!

Running Path

Dogs have a lot of energy, and that energy needs to get out, but not in your house. Incorporating a dog running path allows our furry friends to have freedom to run, yet not damaging the yard. A running path by the fence gives your dog a chance to watch neighbors. Alternatively, create a space where your dog naturally gravitates towards now, adding an attractive fence and gate with a few strategically placed bushes or vines would transform the area entirely.
