Privacy Decorative Slats (PDS)
These are also known as chain link fence slats. When you need to increase your privacy, privacy slats are the answer. They come in various colors and heights and are low maintenance, made from a vinyl material for chain link fence. They provide an economical and attractive way to enhance any chain link fence.
Privacy Screening
These fabrics are available in plain edge in rolls of 150 feet or they can be customized to fit your specific size requirements. The screening can be hemmed with grommets placed approximately every 16 inches around the outer edges. Screening is available in various colors and densities. Below are some of the uses of these fabrics:
- Green houses
- Privacy screen
- Sun and heat control
- Wind shields on tennis courts
- Baseball windscreen
How to Measure Mesh for Chain Link Fence
Measure your chain link fence diagonally (inside measurements) as shown in the drawing above. If the measurement is 2” then typically the gauge of the wire is 9 or 11. If the measurement is 2 1/4” or 2 3/8” then typically the gauge of the wire is 11 1/2, 12 or 12 1/2.
Caution: Your chain link professional should be consulted before installing slats. If the fence is not properly anchored or if too light a framework is used, high winds may cause damage to your fence.
